Domaine Mabileau

Frédéric/Rémy Mabileau

The Mabileau family has been making wine in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil in the Loire since the late 1800’s. So we are sure Remy and Charly, the two sons currently running the domaine, were expecting to eventually be right where they now find themselves. The domaine currently has 35 HA of vines spread over 4 different appellations: Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Bourgueil, Saumur and Anjou. With its wide terraces of ancient alluvium, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil impose the Cabernet Franc. The plot located in Bourgueil offers a terroir richer in clay and gravel. Exclusively dedicated to the production of a single cuvée, this small piece of land reflects the expression of an old massal selection of Cabernet Franc. The Domaine is certified organic since 2007 and Biodyvin since 2018.
