Farmstead Cider
Farmstead Cider
Based in Jackson Wyoming, Farmstead Cider produces small-batch hard ciders hand made from local Wyoming and Rocky Mountain apples grown on ancient glacial soils. The extreme climate, sun and altitudes make Wyoming an ideal place to grow unique cider apple varieties, including high-tannin crab apples and 150+ year old sweet apple trees. All ciders are wild yeast fermented slowly in cold temperatures, with no SO2 added, barrel-aged, resulting in very dry, tannic yet smooth ciders.

Many of these trees are over 100 years old, and were planted by the same generation that founded Yellowstone National Park 150 years ago.
Farmstead Choke Cherry Cider
This special release is the outcome of an experiment utilizing an intriguing native species the Choke Cherry. Long used by native cultures, the choke cherry bush is a fairly ubiquitous plant found throughout the American west. It's fruit are small and nearly 70 % seed pit. This makes it difficult and time consuming to get the yields to craft a cider, but for our undaunted cider makers this posed little challenge. Now after sufficient aging has occurred we give you this delicious unique violet nectar. Enjoy!
